Early Intervention Speech Therapist - Autism Support

About the role

You’ll work with children under 6, creating individualized treatment plans, leading therapy sessions, tracking progress, and coaching families to support continued growth at home.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans for children with autism
• Lead therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and cognitive skills
• Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Coach families on how to continue therapy at home

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan
• Experience working with children with autism
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field preferred
• Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
• Knowledge of early intervention services and resources
