Speech Therapist (SLP) Early Intervention

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist (SLP) to join our Early Intervention team at Shema Kolainu – Hear Our Voices (SKHOV). As a Speech Therapist, you will work with our team to provide individualized speech therapy services to children aged 0-3 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities. Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to children aged 0-3 with ASD and related developmental disabilities in a home-based setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication goals
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery
• Conduct assessments, screenings, and progress monitoring to evaluate treatment effectiveness
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions and progress
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to stay current with best practices

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or related field
• 2+ years of experience working with children with ASD and related developmental disabilities
• New York State License and Certification as an SLP (CCC-SLP)
• PER-DIEM schedule, with flexibility to accommodate varied client needs
• Ability to travel to client homes in Queens, NY
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in ASHA guidelines and evidence-based practices

Pay

Competitive salary $60-$70 a Session (typically 30 minutes)
