Early Intervention Speech Pathologist

About the role

The role involves providing 0-3 early intervention services in alignment with OCDEL’s Family Guided Routines Based Intervention (FGRBI) coaching model, maintaining all documentation in accordance with state and county expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect services to children and their families
  • Implement FGRBI coaching model
  • Implement evidence-based practices for Early Intervention Services
  • Effectively communicate orally and in writing the child’s developmental levels/progress and outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with parents/caregivers to identify activities to support language development
  • Pull reports from database to manage work, and review reports

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology (MS or MA)
  • Licensure in the state of Pennsylvania and ongoing completion of approved continuing education hours in the two (2) year mandatory renewal period to maintain licensure
  • Experience working with infants and toddlers with disabilities, and their parents/caregivers required
