Support the planning and implementation of engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and activities. Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators. Encourage each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Assist with classroom management using positive guidance techniques that celebrate each child's individuality. Maintain an organized, stimulating, and safe learning environment. Complete classroom documentation and recordkeeping. Communicate respectfully and professionally with parents and caregivers. Assume classroom leadership when the Lead Teacher is unavailable. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing training.
