Key Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where children can thrive.
- Implement Creative Curriculum using play-based learning and interest centers.
- Actively engage in hands-on activities to promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.
- Extend learning beyond the classroom, including outdoor activities.
- Assess each child's progress and tailor activities to meet individual developmental needs.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers to create a positive and structured learning environment.
- Use positive behavior management techniques consistent with Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP).
What We're Looking For
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- First Aid & CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Utah Driver's License
- Utah Food Handler's Permit (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
- Fluent in English (spoken, read, and written)
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- A strong passion for working with children and a desire to learn and grow in early childhood education
