About the role

Babilou Family US is part of the global Babilou Family network and brings a local, community-focused approach to early childhood education through our Little Sprouts, Building Blocks, and Heartworks schools. We are seeking a proactive and collaborative Teacher who will support our mission and contribute meaningfully to this role.

Responsibilities

  • Craft a classroom culture grounded in respect, exploration, and sustainable learning practices.

  • Integrate meaningful curriculum experiences that connect children to the natural world and promote responsible decision-making.

  • Maintain an organized, safe, and eco-minded learning environment.

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with families through consistent, professional, and sustainability-minded communication practices.

  • Support ongoing educator growth and classroom quality through continuous reflection, training, and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Must pass required state and company background checks.

  • Must have a high school diploma, GED, or be enrolled in classes.

  • Educational requirements for EEC Certification must be met (if required).

  • Adhere to all company policies and EEC regulations.

  • Ability to stand, move, run, and play for most of the day.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times a day.

Schedule

This location will operate year-round, Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-6:00PM.

Pay

Pay range: $21.00-$27.00+ per hour for EEC Teacher Certified Candidates.
