About the role
Babilou Family US is part of the global Babilou Family network and brings a local, community-focused approach to early childhood education through our Little Sprouts, Building Blocks, and Heartworks schools. We are seeking a proactive and collaborative team member to support our mission and contribute meaningfully to this role.
Responsibilities
Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and sustainable learning environment where children can grow, explore, and thrive.
Support the Teacher Associate in implementing meaningful learning experiences, maintaining an organized and eco-minded classroom, and fostering respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Lead classroom organization and routines that promote environmental responsibility, mindful material use, and stewardship habits.
Model best practices for the teaching team and ensure high-quality instructional delivery.
Supervise children during learning activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor exploration that fosters connection to nature and hands-on learning.
Build strong, trusting relationships with families through consistent, professional, and sustainability-minded communication practices.
Maintain all required certifications and participate in ongoing training, including sustainability-focused professional learning.
Coach and support Assistant Teachers in instructional practices and environmentally responsible classroom routines.
Qualifications
Must pass required state and company background checks.
Must have a high school diploma, GED, or be enrolled in classes.
Educational requirements for EEC Certification must be met (for roles requiring EEC Certification).
Adhere to all company policies and EEC regulations.
Ability to stand, move, run, and play for most of the day.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times a day.

Pay Range
$20.00-$22.00+ per hour for EEC Teacher Certified Candidates
