About the role

Babilou Family US is part of the global Babilou Family network and brings a local, community-focused approach to early childhood education through our Little Sprouts, Building Blocks, and Heartworks schools. We are seeking a proactive and collaborative team member who will support our mission and contribute meaningfully to this role.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and sustainable learning environment where children can grow, explore, and thrive.
  • Support the Teacher Associate in implementing meaningful learning experiences, maintaining an organized and eco-minded classroom, and fostering respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Craft a classroom culture grounded in respect, exploration, and sustainable learning practices.
  • Integrate meaningful curriculum experiences that connect children to the natural world and promote responsible decision-making.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and eco-minded learning environment.
  • Strengthen family communication and community involvement.
  • Sustain ongoing educator growth and classroom quality through continuous reflection, training, and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Must pass required state and company background checks.
  • Must have a high school diploma, GED, or be enrolled in classes.
  • Educational requirements for EEC Certification must be met (for roles requiring EEC Certification).
  • Adhere to all company policies and EEC regulations.
  • Ability to stand, move, run, and play for most of the day.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times a day.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $19.00-$23.00+ per hour for EEC Teacher Certified Candidates.
