Early Childhood Teacher - 2 yr old classroom

About the role

Chambliss Center for Children is seeking teacher/teacher assistant positions in their Toddlers classrooms (ages 2-3).

Responsibilities

• Keep children safe and engaged during play, learning, and daily routines.
• Lead fun activities that help kids grow in how they think, move, and get along with others.
• Keep the classroom clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Work closely with other teachers, parents, and volunteers.
• Watch for health needs and help children as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass a fingerprint background check.
• Experience working with children in a classroom is a big plus!

Qualifications

• Start at $11/hour if you only have a high school education and little experience; from $13/hour with a Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate.
• If you have more education or experience, you can earn up to $18-19/hour.
