We're looking for an educator who understands how to create a nurturing, engaging classroom where young children can explore, build confidence, and develop important skills through meaningful learning experiences. We are actively interviewing qualified candidates for our Manhattan locations. Key Responsibilities Lead daily classroom activities and routines for children ages 2-2.5Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. CurriculumCreate engaging sensory, art, music, movement, language, and hands-on learning experiencesEncourage independence, communication, and positive social interactionsSupport toileting, diapering, meals, rest time, and classroom transitionsUse positive guidance and developmentally appropriate classroom managementObserve and document children's developmental progressGuide and collaborate with Assistant TeachersBuild strong relationships and communicate regularly with familiesMaintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroomFollow NYC childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements Qualifications Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related qualifying field, OR enrollment in an approved study plan toward an associate degree, as permitted by applicable NYC regulationsPrevious professional childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood classroom experience requiredExperience teaching children ages 2-3 strongly preferredPrevious Lead Teacher experience preferredStrong classroom management, communication, and organizational skillsMust meet applicable NYC Article 47 Group Teacher qualifications for the assigned classroom What We Offer $21-$24 per hour, based on experience and qualificationsFull-time Monday-Friday schedulePaid training and professional developmentEmployee childcare discountSupportive leadership and collaborative teaching teamOpportunities for continued career growth Apply today to join The Learning Experience and help our 2-year-olds develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
