Early Childhood Classroom Teacher (Substitute)

Responsibilities
- Implements daily lesson plans and maintains daily class schedule
- Ensures daily communication is maintained with parents through communication logs, calendars, newsletters, office notes
- Establishes daily connection with students
- Safeguards daily communication with on-site manager
- Completes daily record keeping
- Safeguards daily maintenance of classrooms and submits classroom needs to Manager
- Affords assistance in lesson planning
- Affords assistance and attends program events
- Works directly with on-site manager to identify needs and developmental goals for each student
- Works directly with on-site manager to implement family education and support
- Builds community relationships and interacts professionally on behalf of Jordan Valley Early Childhood Education Center
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Pediatric First-Aid, CPR and AED certification within 90 days of hire
