Early Childhood Behavior Technician (RBT)

Location: Tallmadge, OH • Part-time • $17 – $22 per hour (based on experience and certification status)

SparkJoy ABA, in partnership with Finni Health, is seeking high-energy, playful, and compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy to children with autism. This role operates exclusively in the client's home environment. You must feel comfortable working inside client homes and visiting neighborhoods within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Be a Play Leader: Work 1:1 with children in their homes. You aren’t just "monitoring"—you are actively playing, moving, and engaging a child to help them meet their goals.
• Teach Through Action: Use creative, high-movement methods to teach communication, social cues, and daily living skills.
• Data & Collaboration: Collect progress data and collaborate with supervising BCBAs to ensure the child is thriving.
• Support Families: Build trust with parents through consistent, upbeat communication and in-home support.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience working with children (daycare, camp counselor, teaching, coaching, or similar).
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in the area.
• Passing RBT Certification within 90 days of hire is required (we will help you study and cover the cost).
• Proof of completion of a 40-hour Behavior Technician training course is preferred but not required to interview.
• Naturally outgoing, energetic, and comfortable being high-energy to keep a child engaged and learning.
