Early Childhood Assistant Teacher Position

About the role

Seacoast Waldorf School has an opening for a four-day Early Childhood Assistant position in a Nursery classroom with age 2.5 – 4 yr olds. This is a non-exempt, five-day position (Monday – Friday) from 8am – 3:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Must pass state of Maine Child Abuse Check and Maine Criminal Record Check/ background clearance.
• Must be CPR and first aid certified.

• The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Close vision is required for detail work.
• Required work will take place outside and in a classroom and will frequently be noisy.
• Working with youth may require exposure to bacterial contamination.
