Responsibilities
- Support engaging, hands-on learning experiences
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Encourage children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
- Assist with daily routines and transitions
- Work collaboratively with your teaching team
- Create a classroom where every child feels like they belong
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in connection with the care of children
Qualifications
- Must successfully complete all required state background clearances and licensing requirements
