E-Commerce Marketplace Analyst

Location: Bridgewater, NJ (Hybrid; in office 3 days per week)
Reports to: E-Commerce Marketplace Lead
Salary Range: $90,000–$120,000 annually
Core Responsibilities
- Turn Insights into Action
- Track sales, traffic, conversion, pricing, availability, and digital shelf health by brand, retailer, and SKU.
- Translate complex reporting into clear, data-driven recommendations and track the business impact of your insights.
- Support Omnichannel & eRetail Growth
- Identify opportunities to boost discoverability, conversion, and item performance across priority digital marketplaces.
- Proactively surface and help resolve barriers to growth, including stock availability, pricing anomalies, and catalog setup errors.
- Maintain competitive intelligence, monitor competitor activity, pricing shifts, assortment strategies, and category trends.
- Improve Digital Shelf Presence
- Ensure maximum impact of titles, bullets, imagery, enhanced content, and ratings/reviews across key retailers.
- Support content optimization strategies to improve visibility across traditional marketplace search and emerging LLM-driven shopping experiences.
- Support Promotions, Media, and Launches
- Analyze promotional lift, media effectiveness, and tent-pole events to deliver clear test-and-learn recommendations.
- Support new product introduction timelines, from initial e-retailer setup and content delivery to post-launch performance tracking.
- Collaborate Across Teams
- Work with internal brand, sales, finance, and supply chain teams alongside external agencies to streamline digital commerce execution.
- Owning action trackers, issue logs, promotional calendars, and performance dashboards to keep leadership informed.
Qualifications
- Exceptional ability to interpret large datasets, spot trends, and translate data into business strategy.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and action trackers simultaneously.
- Strong ability to summarize complex analytical findings into clear, concise takeaways for cross-functional partners.
- A self-starter with a solutions-oriented mindset who naturally follows through on action plans.
