Electronic Commerce Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop e-commerce software programs to meet business requirements.
• Maintain and support existing e-commerce solutions to ensure continuity and efficiency.
• Create and manage trading partner profiles and map transactions for seamless integration.
• Establish and test secure communication links with trading partners, ensuring data security and integrity.
• Identify and document programming requirements for new transactions and related processes.
• Assist in developing and documenting e-commerce policies and procedures.
• Work on multiple projects, contributing as a team member and leading moderate complexity projects.
• Provide guidance and coaching to junior technical staff as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of IT work experience in software development, installation, and maintenance, as well as web/internet and database applications or data warehousing.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in programming and transaction mapping.
• Experience in working with vendors and trading partners in an e-commerce environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, demonstrating effective time management skills.

Skills

• Proficient in programming languages relevant to e-commerce development.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and technologies.
• Knowledge of web development frameworks and tools.
• Experience with database management systems.
• Understanding of e-commerce security protocols and practices.
