Job Profile
- Develop E-commerce sales strategies to grow sales through our own website and to meet revenue and growth
- Well versed with the operations of major e-commerce players such as Amazon, Myntra, nykaa, Tata Cliq
- Coordinate with various e-portals to prepare a plan for periodic sales
- Design strategy to increase sales and visibility at different websites.
- Provide thought leadership, innovation and process optimization initiatives such as implementing e-commerce software, Inventory Management Software and other industry best
- Product management, product marketing, promotions, Product Marketing, Drive Customer Research and ROI
- Prepare and present annual, quarterly and monthly vertical budgets in discussion with the top leadership
- To create and develop commercial opportunities which maximizes revenue
- Developing, monitoring, writing and updating content contained on E-Commerce websites/portals/platforms.
- Partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into eCommerce projects
- Owning all performance & funnel metrics wrt ecommerce sale. Ensuring that such metrics are institutionalized across teams and running performance cadences with respective stakeholder
- Planning of category level visibility and Store optimization through data rigor
- Liaison with Brand, Marketing and Design teams to plan monthly & yearly campaigns and co-owning metrics like CTR, Conversion funnel, Retargeting, recovering abandoned orders and Lead conversion
- Implement CRM Strategy and loyalty program. Grow and build customer database through organic and inorganic strategies
- Innovative thinking, on new ways to sell Sarees, introduce new launches, tell newer and better stories (capsules, videos, live shopping etc)
- Planning a lot of merchandising/sort experiments on the platform in order to improve performance or test various hypothesis through rigorous AB’s and driving best practices as a result of these
- Optimize and improve personalization, Gamification of actions on the platform
- Create and check promotional offers to ensure they are uploaded
- Examine sales-related metrics to inform restocks.
- Develop subject matter expertise in assigned product categories and take ownership of daily business administration on assigned
- Cultivate standards, systems and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance and new product
- Work with e-commerce vendors for graphic designs, layouts and relevant updating on e-commerce sites related to new and existing product information
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate/ MBA from a top tier school, with total work experience of 7-8 years, with preferably 3+ years in an Ecommerce firm driving growth/planning
- Mandatory people management work experience of 3+ years
- Should have experience of handling Fashion and Luxury as a Category and should be able to understand the Category nuances
- Able to work well under deadlines, pressure and to successfully meet these deadlines
- Bias for action — Has sound judgement, thoroughly thinks through the problems to come up with solutions
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Having strong creative bent of mind, with ability to generate ideas to drive category awareness and visibility
- Sharp Business and creative Acumen
- Able to work with a lot of ambiguity
- Extremely strong in execution as this role will involve overseeing significant execution
- Strong sense of customer centricity
