E-Commerce Bookkeeper

Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping and month-end close responsibilities for e-commerce businesses using various cloud applications.
• Tracing activity from gross sales through discounts, fees, refunds, chargebacks, gift cards, sales tax, inventory, cost of goods sold, clearing accounts, and final bank deposits.
• Investigate and resolve reconciling issues.

Requirements

• Experience with Xero, A2X, Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, Cin7 Core/DEAR, and similar cloud applications.
• Comfortable managing complex financial transactions and reconciliations.
• Understanding of e-commerce accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to work remotely and maintain a consistent schedule, typically overlapping with 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time.
• Own dedicated workspace and access to a computer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Pay

$56,000 - $64,000 yearly

Schedule

Full-time, with flexibility between 32 and 40 hours per week, typically overlapping with 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time.
