E-Comm Specialist

About the role

Goodwill North Texas is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Ecommerce Specialist to join our growing ecommerce team. In this role, you will help maximize the value of donated merchandise by evaluating, researching, photographing, listing, selling, and shipping items through ShopGoodwill.com. This position plays a vital role in supporting Goodwill’s mission while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize donated merchandise from retail locations
• Identify jewelry, collectibles, and specialty items
• Research market values using online resources
• Create compelling online listings by writing accurate descriptions, taking professional photographs, and setting competitive prices
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Monitor online listings
• Pull sold merchandise
• Package orders safely and professionally
• Ensure shipments are processed on time through FedEx, UPS, USPS, and other approved carriers
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve order issues
• Support a positive customer experience through timely and professional communication

Requirements

• Organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong computer skills
• Basic internet research abilities
• Commitment to accuracy
• Previous ecommerce, retail, shipping, inventory, jewelry evaluation, or customer service experience preferred but not required
