E&C Engineer (contract)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineering professional to join our dynamic team, where you will play a critical role in the successful execution of complex construction and commissioning projects. In this position, you will serve as the primary technical authority on-site, bridging the gap between design intent and field execution by managing key engineering processes and collaborating closely with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that all work aligns with Owner specifications, project requirements, and applicable industry standards, while driving projects to successful completion on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough design reviews to ensure compliance with Owner specifications, project requirements, and applicable standards
- Manage the EPC submittal, transmittal, and RFI processes to maintain project alignment and documentation integrity
- Provide on-site engineering technical expertise to support construction and commissioning activities
- Serve as a key point of contact for engineering-related inquiries and decisions on the project site
- Collaborate with contractors and project teams to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Ensure successful project execution by monitoring technical compliance throughout all project phases
Skills
- Strong understanding of EPC project processes, including submittal and transmittal management and RFI resolution
- Proficiency in performing design reviews and interpreting technical specifications and engineering drawings
- Solid knowledge of construction and commissioning processes, including testing and system verification
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to resolve complex technical challenges in the field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced project environment
- Familiarity with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred
- Relevant industry certifications in electrical systems or project engineering are a plus
Pay
The pay rate range for this position is 50.77 - 67.69 USD hourly.
