Job Summary
We are seeking two experienced engineering professionals to join a collaborative and growing engineering organization supporting utility-scale generation facilities across Colorado. These positions are embedded within a team of approximately 27 project managers and engineers and report directly to the Engineering and Construction leadership.
Responsibilities
- Attend Plan of Day (POD) meetings at plant sites and provide timely project status updates to stakeholders
- Maintain and update project lead sheets, spending forecasts, and schedule documentation
- Cookordinate, source, and manage contractors to ensure performance, quality, and compliance
- Oversee contractor adherence to Xcel and OSHA safety requirements on all assigned projects
- Manage lockout/tagout processes and safety compliance during field activities
- Execute project planning and engineering activities from initiation through closeout
- Conduct plant site walkdowns, job walkdowns, and field verification activities as required
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations managers, plant reliability engineers, plant directors, and project teams
- Independently lead project updates and identify resource needs by the third month of employment
- Deliver accurate project spending forecasts and support budget management throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills including scope, schedule, and budget control
- Proficiency with work management systems such as SAP, Maximo, or equivalent platforms
- Familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies in an engineering context
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
- Collaborative team player with a willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
Skills
- Experience with Power BI for reporting and data visualization
- Experience managing projects through full lifecycle from initiation to closeout
- Experience overseeing contractor performance and safety compliance in an industrial or field setting
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university required; preferred disciplines include Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, and Electrical Engineering
- PMP, Six Sigma Lean, or equivalent project or process improvement certification preferred

Pay
Pay Rate Range: 44.31 - 59.08 USD hourly
