Dynamics 365 CE Field Service Consultant/Architect
Solution Architecture & Design
Lead the end-to-end architecture and solution design of Dynamics 365 Field Service, including Work Order management, scheduling, inventory, asset management, connected field service (IoT), and mobile capabilities.
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
Create scalable, modular architectures leveraging Power Platform, Azure services, and D365 CE components.
Create solution blueprints, data models, integration patterns, and configuration strategies.
Consulting & Delivery
Conduct workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and business process reviews.
Configure the Field Service application: resources, booking rules, SLA configurations, incident types, workflows, and entitlements.
Guide customers through best practices for field operations, dispatching, service optimization, and preventive maintenance.
Support the full implementation lifecycle—from discovery through deployment and hypercare.
Technical Leadership
Oversee and mentor functional and technical team members.
Provide guidance on integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, APIs, and third-party tools.
Collaborate with developers on custom plugins, workflows, JavaScript, Power Apps, and integrations.
Ensure compliance with Microsoft-recommended architecture standards and security practices.
Project & Stakeholder Management
Partner with project managers and PMO to define scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
Communicate solution direction and decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
Ensure solution quality through documentation, testing support, and technical oversight.
