Fairfax Radiology Centers — the largest radiology practice in the Washington, DC metro area — is seeking a DXA (Bone Density) Technologist to join our team at the Fairfax Radiology Breast Center of Loudoun. You’ll perform high-quality bone density exams while ensuring a safe, professional, and patient-centered experience.

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
No weekends, holidays, or call
Responsibilities
- Perform DXA bone density exams using FRC protocols and ALARA safety standards
- Update and maintain accurate records in RIS/PACS
- Review prior imaging and confirm exam details
- Obtain medical history and clearly explain procedures to patients
- Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies
- Assist with general center duties as needed
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and all state/federal regulations
Requirements
- ARRT (R) certification
- Virginia Radiologic Technologist license
- BLS/AED certification
- Strong communication and customer service skills

Pay
Based on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is: $33.15 - $44.85 per hour. Placement within the range is determined by factors including experience, education, certifications, and internal equity.
