Responsibilities

  • Evaluates individual PEO program’s life cycle cost and trade-off parameters to ensure optimal use of product support providers supply and resources without degrading operational readiness.
  • Interfaces with PEO/PM Product Support Managers to gather facts, analyze data, and develop recommendations related to any life cycle matters; cross-references regulatory guidance, USSOCOM policy directives, and inventory management to recommend best practices that optimize program’s inventory management stock levels and distribution.
  • Implements and sustains USSOCOM Inventory Control Point (ICP) item management functions.
  • Coordinates with ICP SME II on implementation, trouble shooting, corrective action, and sustainment actions in execution of item management functions.
  • Plans, manages, and coordinates logistics supply chain support for an assigned major system or subsystems with government approval.
  • Integrates functions of supply, maintenance, spares procurement, and quality assurance into logistics activities required to sustain fielded systems with government approval.
  • Affords assistance to PEO/PSM to implement Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans and milestones as directed by policy and guidance to provide the best product for the user, ensuring the most effective and economical means of support are considered and planned for during all stages of a system’s life cycle.
  • Utilizes internal controls and recommends policy and regulatory changes, as well as program enhancements when needed.
  • Performs Item Manager duties within APSR to include but not limited to assigned ICP management and maintenance functions, fulfill requisitions, referrals, dispositions and on-site inventory scheduling with Government approval.
  • Conducts causative research and fact finding as required to resolve item management discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree required in Financial Management, Program Management or Logistics field.
  • Minimum 5 years of combined experience with DOD or other federal agency in Financial Management, Program Management and Logistics.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a program/project lead supporting implementation and sustainment.
  • Prefer one year SOF experience with knowledge of USSOCOM enterprise, subordinate organizations, and Service roles and responsibilities.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance prior to day one of employment- we will process for a Secret clearance.
