About the Role
The Duty Manager Station Operations oversees day-to-day ground and customer service operations at Horizon Air, ensuring safety, compliance, and exceptional customer experiences. As a people leader, this role establishes priorities, manages staffing, and maintains operational reliability in a fast-paced airport environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of airport daily operations, making critical decisions to ensure a successful and safe operation.
- Manage staffing levels, lunch breaks, and schedules to meet operational flow.
- Recommend changes to the Manager Station Operations to achieve quality service and operational goals.
- Assess and respond to operational situations while maintaining safety, compliance, and customer service.
- Provide feedback and coaching to employees, addressing performance issues as needed.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Flight Operations, Inflight, and MCO to manage off-schedule operations.
- Liaise with the Station Training Supervisor on training needs and implement procedural changes.
- Oversee employee recognition and operational performance goals.
- Conduct investigations for injuries, incidents, or accidents as required.
Requirements
- 5 years of customer service experience, preferably in passenger service or station operations.
- 2 years of leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or additional two years of relevant training/experience.
- Experience with scheduling, budget controls, and administering discipline.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays with regular and predictable attendance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated diplomacy, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with TSA, FAA, and IATA regulations (preferred).

Pay
Salary range: $73,750 -- $110,650 / year. Pay is based on location, experience, skillset, and internal equity. Note: We typically do not hire at the top of the range.
