Job Summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Dual Recovery Clinician to join their PACT (Program for Assertive Community Treatment) program in Needham and Westborough, MA. The PACT program provides comprehensive recovery-oriented mental health services to individuals with serious mental illness and substance use disorders.

About the Role

The Dual Recovery Clinician works within the PACT Team to provide assessment, engagement, direct service, and program consultation for individuals dealing with co-occurring substance use disorders and psychiatric illnesses. They guide staff through training and modeling to assist in developing and implementing effective interventions for dual recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment and engagement services for individuals with dual diagnoses
  • Deliver direct service and program consultation to support individuals in their recovery journey
  • Model and train staff on effective interventions for dual recovery
  • Collaborate with the PACT team to ensure comprehensive and individualized care

Requirements

  • Demonstrated skills in clinical assessment and treatment of dual diagnosis
  • Proficiency in psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery-oriented services
  • Experience supporting individuals with co-occurring challenges
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree with Independent Licensure as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADCI or LADC2)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Registered Addiction Counselor (RAC)

Skills

  • Proficiency in motivational interviewing and stages of change
  • Cognitive and behavioral treatment skills
  • Experience with clinical risk assessment and treatment

Pay and Schedule

  • Pay Rate: $78,197.39/salaried
  • Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours per week
