Riverside Community Care is seeking a full-time (40 hour) Independently Licensed Clinician to join our community-based Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) program based in Needham and serving the surrounding area. PACT is an evidence-based model providing comprehensive recovery-oriented mental health services to people living with serious mental illness, who may also have substance use problems and/or involvement with the criminal justice system.

About the role

PACT services are highly individualized and delivered by a mobile, community-based, multi-disciplinary team. Staff work with individuals to meet their unique rehabilitation and clinical needs, improve functioning, and enhance their roles within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 24-hour on-call coverage on rotation and respond to emergency calls as necessary
  • Deliver highly individualized, recovery-oriented mental health services in a community-based setting
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to address clinical and rehabilitation needs
  • Local travel using dependable transportation

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in clinical mental health counseling or social work
  • Independent licensure of LICSW or LMHC required within 3 months of start date
  • At least one year of experience working with adults with co-occurring disorders
  • Valid driver’s license and available, dependable transportation
  • Basic computer fluency (including Microsoft Office)

Skills

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual skills a plus
  • Knowledge of motivational interviewing and person-centered practice preferred
