Dual Rate Supervisor Full Time (The Vanderpump Hotel LV)

Job Description The Dual Rate Supervisor supervises the operations of several table games on an assigned shift, placing special emphasis on guest service, security of Caesars Entertainment assets and positive employee motivation and coaching. Games needed (Blackjack, Roulette, Craps/Dice, Baccarat, and/or Pai Gow) Responsibilities Operating several table games on an assigned shiftWorking knowledge of all table games, house rules, counting methods and procedures covering each assures that all coin and check racks are filled at all timesSettles disputes that arise from guest in the Table Games area, referring those that are exceedingly difficult to the Casino Manager, Table Games or Director of Table GamesAssures guest development by 1) interacting, 2) modeling interactive skills with guest and felloe employees and 3) and make company decisionsRemains alert to any unusual or questionable activities being displayed by Table Games employee or gaming quest and reports any situations to assigned superiorObserves problems or differences between Table Games employees and gaming guests and provides assistance if necessaryRecommends changes in department including hiring, promotion, demotion, and termination; recommends wage and salary changes for personnel within established limitsCounsels, guides, coaches and instructs assigned personnel in the proper performance of their duties Prepares and coordinates the periodical performance review of assigned personnel Qualifications Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in professional mannerMust present a neat and professional appearanceMust require a minimum age of 21 Work requires ability to perform basic math functionsWork requires flexibility to work various shiftsWork requires minimum of 2 years pit operation (preferred)Knowledge of casino rules, regulations, and procedures pertinent to PIT operationsPrior professional cleaning experience preferredCards Needed: Alcohol NV and Gaming License, NV Additional Requirements Must be able to respond calmly in a demanding environment, multiple tasks to be managed under time constraintsMust possess good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cards and moneyMust have excellent vision (including peripheral) to protect the gamesMust be able to tolerate secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dustMust be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip itemsMust be able to walk and be on foot for extended periods of timeMust be able to manage a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems, in a timely manner About Us The Vanderpump Hotel is the Strip’s first and only, stand-alone boutique hotel and casino.
