Dual Rate Supervisor Full Time (Harrah's LV)

About the role

The Dual Rate Supervisor supervises the operations of several table games on an assigned shift, placing special emphasis on guest service, security of Caesars Entertainment assets, and positive employee motivation and coaching. Games include Blackjack, Roulette, Craps/Dice, Baccarat, and/or Pai Gow.

Responsibilities

• Operate several table games on an assigned shift.
• Maintain working knowledge of all table games, house rules, counting methods and procedures, ensuring coin and check racks are filled at all times.
• Settle disputes that arise from guests in the Table Games area, referring particularly difficult cases to the Casino Manager, Table Games or Director of Table Games.
• Promote guest development by interacting with guests, modeling interactive skills with guests and fellow employees, and making company‑aligned decisions.
• Remain alert to any unusual or questionable activities displayed by Table Games employees or gaming guests and report situations to the assigned superior.
• Observe problems or differences between Table Games employees and gaming guests and provide assistance as necessary.
• Recommend departmental changes including hiring, promotion, demotion, termination, and wage or salary adjustments within established limits.
• Counsel, guide, coach and instruct assigned personnel in the proper performance of their duties.
• Prepare and coordinate periodic performance reviews of assigned personnel.

Qualifications

• Effective communication in English, both verbal and written, in a professional manner.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Minimum of 2 years pit‑operation experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of casino rules, regulations, and procedures pertinent to pit operations.
• Prior professional cleaning experience (preferred).
• Required cards: Alcohol NV and Gaming License, NV.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to respond calmly in a demanding environment and manage multiple tasks under time constraints.
• Good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cards, and money.
• Excellent vision (including peripheral) to protect the games.
• Ability to tolerate second‑hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
• Physical ability to bend, reach, kneel, twist, grip items, and walk on foot for extended periods.
• Capacity to manage heavy business volume and sensitive staff and guest situations in a timely manner.
