About the role
Join the Slot Operations team as a Dual Rate Slot Supervisor/Shift Manager. You will lead and support the Slots team on your shift while delivering top-tier customer service. In this position, you’ll oversee staffing, ensure compliance with regulations, resolve guest concerns, and keep everything running smoothly on the casino floor—all while maintaining integrity, confidentiality, and a sharp eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervise slot operations on your shift while maintaining the highest standard of customer service, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Enforce all company and departmental policies, service standards, and PGCB regulations.
- Maintain proper staffing levels throughout the shift and make adjustments as needed.
- Handle customer complaints and disputes.
- Complete necessary paperwork associated with daily functions of the slot department, including shift reports, ATE slips, and corrective actions.
- Demonstrate familiarity with, and working knowledge of, the operations and paytables of slot machines and self-serve sports wagering kiosks through company training.
- Monitor sportsbook video programming and make adjustments to maintain adequate sports coverage in sports wagering areas.
- Ensure all jackpot transactions are completed accurately, jackpot slips, and payment procedures comply with departmental internal controls and are completed within a reasonable time.
- Assist on the casino floor with patron calls and questions when possible.
- Ensure all vacant, nonfixed slot seating is tucked in close to the slot machine and aisle ways are maintained.
- Issue complimentary/promotional expenses in accordance with the approved comp matrix.
- Monitor staffing levels, coach and counsel employees, and enforce all rules, service standards, policies, and PGCB regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of supervisor experience is preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
- Confidentiality and gaming experience is a must.
Skills
- Language Ability: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Coach and counsel employees effectively.
- Math Ability: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Computer Skills: Intermediate PC skills. Microsoft Office experience required.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Work Environment: The noise level is loud when on the casino floor. Exposure to smoke when on the casino floor.
- Physical Demands: Stand and walk for extended periods. Lift up to 40 pounds. Talk and hear to ensure proper communication. Strong vision skills, including close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
