Dual Rate Poker Supervisor (Caesars New Orleans)

About the role

The Dual Rate Poker Supervisor will implement and ensure compliance with approved procedures, train, supervise and monitor performance of employees to ensure smooth and efficient gaming during shift. Responsible for the protection of the Caesars New Orleans assets within assigned areas. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Non Key Louisiana Gaming License. Basic knowledge of a Casino Credit system beneficial. Previous experience in a leadership position preferred. Game knowledge/experience of at least two Pit Games required.

Responsibilities

• Effectively safeguard casino assets.
• Implement and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and gaming regulatory requirements.
• Specifically supervise the operation of an assigned number of tables and dealers.
• Responsible for the training and equitable treatment of all table games personnel.
• Ensure fills/credits are handled according to policy.
• Promote outstanding guest relations.
• Aid in answering questions or resolving disputes.
• Promote the following within the department and among all associates:
• Create an atmosphere of fun for all casino guests.
• Encourage mutual respect, dignity, and integrity with all associates by setting a positive example at all times.
• Instill an atmosphere that encourages associates to share ideas, discuss concerns and resolve disputes.
• Retail associates through personal involvement in associate training and development.
• Support and maintain Horseshoe courtesy guidelines.

Requirements

• Directly supervises an assigned number of dealers.
• Signatory ability includes: orders for fills and credits, fills and credits slips, key control, markers and customer balance records, table inventory forms, and complimentary rooms, food, beverage.
• Must be able to maneuver in between Poker tables.
• Must be able to reach, pull, bend, crouch, and kneel around Poker tables and Poker bank.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.

Pay

Salary range: $25,000 - $35,000 annually
