Dual Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Engineering and assists with hotel maintenance and protection, guest and associate satisfaction, as well as the financial performance of the department.
• Ensures the hotel’s maintenance and upkeep standards meet White Lodging, Brand, and Guest standards.
• Proactively follows specific departmental procedures in performing repair, maintenance, alteration, and installation work in a safe and neat manner.
• Determines defects, troubleshoots malfunctions, takes necessary corrective action, and records same following specific departmental procedures.
• Possesses the ability to read and use blueprints, diagrams, operations manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.
• Maintains key inventories and procedures in coordination with risk management.

Requirements

• Understanding of blueprints, specifications, and operating instructions.
• A positive attitude and passion for doing things right the first time.
• Strong technical experience between schooling and equivalent work experience; previous leadership experience preferred.
• A focus on safety and customer service.
• Progressive experience in hospitality engineering or facilities management required.
