• The Illinois Health Care Worker Background Check and Agency Policies Act mandates that Futures Unlimited, Inc. conducts Criminal Background Checks on all staff. Individuals convicted of certain felonies are prohibited from Direct Care positions unless a waiver is granted by the Illinois Department of Human Services.
• Staff must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test and be cleared through the Illinois Department of Public Health Nurse Aid Registry before starting their roles. Employment is contingent upon passing these checks and the Drug Test.
• Some positions may also require a Physical Function test.
