Job Summary
We are now hiring a Director of Staff Development Interim (DSD LPN/LVN) to join our healthcare team. The position offers a competitive salary range of $74,880 per year.
About the Role
The Director of Staff Development (DSD LPN/LVN) plays a crucial role in ensuring staff receive the necessary training to deliver high-quality care to our residents. This position supports person-centered care, trust, communication, and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Provide orientation, educational, and learning opportunities in a supportive environment.
- Monitor nursing staff activities to ensure compliance with state, federal, and corporate standards.
- Direct the infection prevention and control program and oversee its activities.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience providing direct care to multiple residents.
- A Nursing degree from an accredited college or graduation from an approved LPN/LVN program.
- A current, unencumbered license to practice as LPN/LVN in the state.
- Knowledge of, or training in, adult learning or previous training experience.
- Knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
Qualifications
