Sales Associate / Customer Service Representative
Drybar is a blow dry-only bar and our philosophy is simple. Focus on one thing and be the best at it. For us that’s blowouts. In fact, our tagline says it all: No cuts. No color. Just blowouts. We are looking for fantastic retail sales associates to provide excellent customer service to our clients.
Qualifications
- 1+ years’ experience in a fast paced, customer service centric environment (sales associate, retail sales associate, customer service representative, store associate, salon associate, or a similar position)
- Previous experience with Point of Sale Systems strongly preferred
- Previous salon/spa experience preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work at a sustained, fast pace
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Track record in providing over-the-top, amazing customer service!
- Ability to multitask with ease
- Frequently required to stand and/or walk for duration of 6-8 hour long shifts
- Has the technical ability and skills to operate a point of sale system
- Problem solver - use logic and support resources to solve problems at the front desk
- Maintains professional demeanor under pressure
- Has the ability to work at a sustained, fast pace

Essential Job Functions
- Lead client experience from check in to check out ensuring Drybar standards are upheld
- Check clients in and out through Booker
- Maintain highest degree of ethics when handling client payments and Stylist tips/commissions
- Troubleshoot any Booker issues and make changes to client profiles when needed
- Manage Phones and ensure all Voicemail messages are answered in a timely fashion
- Elevate scheduling concerns to Customer Service team when necessary
- Check notes section of Booker for any special client requests
- Manage shop flow including pairing clients with Stylists and managing break schedules for Stylists in the absence of or by request of the Shop Manager
- Serve complimentary beverages to our clients
- Maintain shop cleanliness
- Restock retail displays and maintain display cleanliness
- Mercandising and inventory projects as assigned
- Provide exceptional service
- Create a bar-like atmosphere by engaging with clients and team members
- Maintain clear communication with shop management about overall shop operations
- Sell products, tools, and memberships
- Maintain punctuality for all scheduled and picked up shifts and come to work prepared for the job
- Contribute to a positive shop atmosphere
- Attend any mandatory shop meetings
