Schedule

Full Time, 8-hour shifts, Monday – Friday

Responsibilities

• Over-the-road observation of students' driving and assisting the driver's education instructor as needed, in compliance with government and management directives.
• Assist the driver's education instructor to prepare students for the written examination through lectures, worksheets, and discussions.
• Evaluate students' performance and determine their readiness to complete the final written exam and driving test.
• Support the career development services system by helping students acquire new skills to improve employability.
• Maintain accountability of students and property to ensure a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety practices.
• Adhere to the center's training schedule of activities and events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years old.
• Experience working with youth.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Valid Utah driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
