Coach Driver

About the role

As a Full Time Coach Driver, you will play a vital role as an experienced Driver touring and completing distance group travel assignments. You must have over-the-road touring and traveling experience with group travel and be comfortable managing extended trips with varying schedules and destinations. Prior hands-on experience (1 year minimum) is required; we do not provide training for this position.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers to their destinations.
• Supervise boarding and unloading at stops; assist passengers with mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, emergency exits).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with dispatch about any delays with the group's planned activities.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service skills.

Requirements

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with both passenger and airbrake endorsements.
• At least one year of road touring and traveling experience driving a motorcoach.
• Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• At least 21 years old.
• Strong safety awareness, professionalism, and excellent customer service skills.

This position is subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.

Skills

• Valid Class B License.
• History driving with other Coach bus companies.
• Previous experience as a teacher or CDL driver.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $26.00 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications). Training Rate: $26.00 per hour.
