Driver Support Recovery Coordinator - FT

Responsibilities

• Plan and recover loads delayed in transit to restore on-time service while supporting drivers through phone and messaging during extended hours.
• Answer calls to the Driver Support Planning line and resolve immediate concerns related to driver and/or customer issues for loads in transit.
• Dispatch necessary resources (driver, truck, trailer) to address immediate issues.
• Monitor loads and resolve issues affecting scheduled delivery/pickup times.
• Seek trailer availability and assist drivers in locating trailers.
• Resolve driver issues within authorized limits.
• Utilize available tools, perform planning functions, and apply critical thinking to ensure on-time deliveries and improved customer service.
• Provide a daily summary of shift activity and communicate changes or ongoing concerns to the day shift.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer or driver issues.
• Conduct persuasive discussions with drivers to ensure load acceptance.
• Proactively assist others in achieving organizational objectives.

Requirements

• Previous experience in transportation required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to work in high-pressure situations.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Pay

$20.00 - $23.00 hourly.
