Responsibilities
- Act as Professional Driver Hiring Manager for Customer Service Center.
- Field recruiting calls and align driver recruiting efforts with company freight movement.
- Review applications of prospective hires in Tenstreet and determine applicant qualifications.
- Process applications for new hires and rehires as needed.
- Conduct personal interviews daily with prospective candidates.
- Complete background checks, including PSP and MVR reports.
- Assist with onboarding new drivers weekly and pair them with CSTs.
- Track CST and new hire training processes.
- Attend monthly Safety Meetings to establish relationships with UPT drivers.
- Travel to various locations (racks, loading terminals, fuel stops) for recruiting efforts as needed.
- Assist in field recruiting events such as job fairs and local hiring events.
- Work with the Recruiting Department to keep ads and marketing up to date.
- Ensure driver census for CSC meets budgeted forecast.
- Assist Recruiting Department with monthly AFH Report and Fleet Report.
- Manage retention efforts for CSC, including operating a monthly budget for retention and driver relations events (e.g., cookouts, holiday events, terminal décor, driver recognition).
- Work with Communications and Marketing Manager to promote CSC drivers in Tank Talk, social media, and Alert Media.
- Promote safety as a core value of the company.
- Maintain driver lounge organization and update it with company directives and communications.
- Ensure driver facilities have ice, water, and coffee available.
- Carry out duties assigned by the VP of Operations as required.
- Assist Recruiting and Human Resources Department occasionally.
Requirements
- College degree preferred.
- One to three years of experience in transportation industry recruiting.

Physical Requirements

Working Conditions
- Requires travel of up to 15% of the time.

- Routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copier/printer/scanners.
