Driver License Center Supervisor - Clearfield

Description of Work

This role oversees daily operations at a Driver License Center and ensures testing, customer service, and staff performance meet established standards. It focuses on leadership, oversight, and maintaining fair and accurate testing procedures.

• Staff Leadership: Guide employees through daily tasks and center operations
• Test Oversight: Ensure all knowledge, skills, and vision tests are administered consistently and accurately
• Customer Service: Promote courteous and professional service to every individual entering the center
• Performance Monitoring: Review employee productivity, test results, and customer feedback to improve operations
• Fraud Prevention: Maintain oversight and audit controls to deter identity theft and ensure compliance with regulations
• Training Support: Identify staff development needs and provide appropriate training opportunities

Qualifications Required

• Experience: One year of experience as a Driver License Examiner (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Two years of experience as a Driver License Examiner Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Three years of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.
• Special Requirements: Active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C Driver’s License or equivalent and twenty-one years of age at the time of application. No suspensions or revocations of a driver’s license during the five year period immediately preceding employment.
• Other Requirements: Meet the PA residency requirement.
