Driver Helper

Responsibilities

• Aid drivers with the safe and efficient delivery of company products
• Unload products at customer locations, including touch freight deliveries
• Accurately place products according to customer requirements
• Provide professional, customer-focused service during delivery interactions
• Help ensure products remain secure and protected throughout the delivery process
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles, trailers, and work areas
• Sweep pallets and clean the trailer and cab at the end of each shift
• Support inventory handling and product movement during deliveries
• Auxiliary transportation and delivery-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift 70 pounds or more on a consistent basis
• Frequent walking, climbing stairs, and navigating customer delivery locations
• Perform repetitive loading and unloading tasks throughout the shift
• Strong work ethic with a dependable and reliable attendance record
• Fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Customer-focused mindset with a professional attitude
• Work in varying weather conditions and temperature-controlled environments
• Commitment to workplace safety and following company procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience in delivery, warehouse, logistics, or distribution environments
• Foodservice distribution experience preferred
• Experience handling touch freight and physically demanding work environments

Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM and 12:00 AM - 10:00 AM
• Environment: Local deliveries, warehouses, customer locations, and varying weather conditions
• Physical Requirements: Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of products weighing 70+ pounds
