This position combines motor vehicle handling ability, communication skills, and patient/resident handling. Patient/resident sensitivity and confidentiality are a must and are practiced at all times. The driver must develop an understanding of the patient's/resident's physical and emotional status and works with all ages of patients/residents.
Responsibilities
- Transports patients/residents safely and as scheduled.
- Assures that all support equipment is well maintained and in good operating condition.
- Sets up equipment according to manufacturer
