About the Role

Riddle Village, a lifecare retirement community, is seeking a Full-Time CDL Driver to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely transportation to residents, guests, and designated visitors
• Drive facility vehicles to local restaurants, shopping centers, physician offices, and other various locations, as well as special activities and events, as scheduled and assigned
• Maintain vehicle logs, purchase gas, and keep preventative maintenance and inspection schedules current for all facility vehicles
• Perform minor vehicular maintenance as needed
• Ensure the interior and exterior of the vehicles are kept clean and presentable at all times, including washing vehicles
• Provide general assistance at the Concierge desk as needed
• Perform other related or unrelated duties as assigned by authorized personnel or as required to meet emergency or other specific situations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Current Commercial Driver's License as required by the State of Pennsylvania
• Verifiable safe driving record
• Thorough knowledge of the metropolitan and surrounding area
• Genuine interest in geriatric care and belief in and upholding the philosophy of the facility
• Well-groomed appearance and courteous, friendly, patient, and congenial manner at all times
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds of force frequently

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous transportation experience
