Driver - Full-Time

Role Overview

Responsible for safely and efficiently transporting products via tractor trailer to deliver and unload goods according to customer invoices and company standards. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, proper handling of products, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport products from warehouse to customer locations, ensuring timely delivery.
• Unload products manually or with equipment, placing items in designated areas per customer specifications.
• Handle damaged goods and returns, returning items to the warehouse.
• Complete all paperwork accurately, including logs, inspections, and invoices.
• Maintain food safety standards, inspect products, and keep vehicles sanitary.
• Operate and maintain assigned equipment safely.
• Develop positive customer relationships through courteous communication.
• Report route, trailer, or product issues promptly.
• Transport backhauls and line hauls correctly and on schedule.
• Flexibility to work outside regular hours to meet customer needs.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED; tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and insurability.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety practices, and hazard handling.
• Skills in long-distance driving, problem-solving, and customer communication.
• Ability to operate large vehicles and equipment, perform basic math, and work independently.

Physical & Work Environment

• Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds, climb in/out of trucks, and handle equipment.
• Work may involve exposure to weather, noise, fumes, and confined spaces.
• Work hours vary, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with potential for overtime.
