Driver-Class A

Responsibilities

• Must have a Class A drivers license and at least 2 years of experience.
• Experience with moving industry is a plus.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• While not a daily occurrence, individual should possess the ability to properly and safely lift, pack, load and unload vehicle as required.
• This position may require writing a complete and accurate inventory of household contents, office goods or furniture as needed.
• Reading, writing and ability to understand English is essential.
• Mathematical skills also required as weights, measurements, volumes and distance calculations are a job responsibility.
• Transporting of shipments to and between warehouse, residents, commercial job sites as well as military basis is required.
• Perform pre-trip & post-trip inspection on truck assigned to ensure travel worthiness.
• Assist in preparation of vehicle before leaving branch location to assure all materials are placed on vehicle.
