Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive hourly wages starting at $30.00–$38.00 per hour, with opportunity for tips and overtime

Responsibilities

• Transport shipments to and between warehouses, residential sites, commercial job sites, and military bases
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections on assigned truck to ensure travel worthiness
• Assist in vehicle preparation before departure, ensuring all materials are properly loaded
• Complete logs/ELDs accurately
• Write complete and accurate inventories of household contents, office goods, or furniture as needed
• Lift, pack, load, and unload vehicles safely when required
• Provide guidance and organization to crew in line with company standards (“the Olympia Way”)
• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members
• Maintain early a.m. dispatch hours and flexible work schedule as needed

Requirements

• Valid Class A driver’s license
• At least 2 years of driving experience; moving‑industry experience is a plus
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to safely lift, pack, load, and unload vehicles
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English
• Mathematical skills for weights, measurements, volumes, and distance calculations
• Capability to operate 26‑ft trucks, tractor‑trailers, and handle 20‑ft and 40‑ft containers
• Successful completion of background check and positive driving record
• Maintain current DOT medical card and other regulatory requirements
