Driver - City

Position Overview: Operate tractor-trailer combinations to pick up and deliver freight, support sales, and ensure safety compliance. Key Responsibilities Drive various trucks, including doubles and triples, adhering to safety standards.Perform daily vehicle inspections and secure freight using appropriate tools.Handle freight with motorized/manual equipment and repair damaged goods when needed.Complete documentation, comply with hazardous material regulations, and follow dispatch instructions.Communicate with customers and support sales efforts by soliciting additional business.Perform related duties such as tire chaining or other operational tasks as required. Qualifications & Skills Valid Class A CDL with double/triple, hazardous materials, and tank endorsements.At least one year of recent driving experience or completion of a driver development course.Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and compliance with DOT regulations.Ability to perform basic math, lift up to 100 pounds, and work independently or in teams.Basic communication skills and physical ability to climb, bend, and sit for extended periods. Working Conditions: Driving in varied weather and road conditions, exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and hazardous materials, with hours varying based on operational needs.
