Driver - CDL

About the role

White Cap is North America’s leading distributor for professional contractors, supplying everything needed to build remarkable construction projects—including stadiums, roads, bridges, highways, and residential housing. As a CDL A or B Driver, you’ll coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites, ensuring timely and safe transport of materials that help build America’s skyline.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer jobsites using a CDL A or B vehicle.
• Operate a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites when required.
• Adhere to DOT regulations, maintain vehicle safety through strict maintenance schedules and regular inspections, and prioritize safety in all operations.
• Ensure accuracy of manifests and all required paperwork.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and a valid state-issued Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Relevant endorsements (e.g., Hazardous Material) if required for the type of equipment being operated.
• Compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of commercial driving experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Spanish language proficiency.
