About the Role

Perform technical duties related to the manufacturing of driveshafts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and utilize proper PPE as instructed.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions with the ability to interpret work orders and dimensional information.
  • Utilize production systems via computers, tablets, scanners, etc.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of assigned work area, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain a productivity level above 50% of the shift’s individual goal, unless otherwise directed.
  • Maintain a quality yield % of 92.5% or greater, unless otherwise directed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Good organizational, communication, and math skills.
  • Basic mechanical skills with machinery and tools.
  • Basic computer skills including internet and scanning systems.
  • Physical ability to properly lift, pack, stack, and wrap up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Working Conditions

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to touch, grasp, handle, and feel items.
  • Moderate noise level.
  • Production floor temperature may reach up to 90+ degrees during the summer months.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
