Overview
Handshake is seeking experienced professionals in the energy industry to contribute to AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. This role does not follow a traditional employment model. You will leverage your practical experience in drilling operations, well planning, and energy data systems to assess AI-generated content and offer insights that enhance AI's understanding of drilling workflows and industry practices.

- Remote work with a flexible, asynchronous schedule and no minimum weekly commitment.
- Hourly contributions range from 5 to 20 hours per week, depending on project demands.
- Placement is contingent upon current project requirements, with potential for future project involvement.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional experience in drilling, completions, or related energy operations, including roles such as:
- Drilling Engineer or Completions Engineer
- Well Cost Analyst or Drilling Superintendent
- or equivalent roles within the energy industry
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following tools:
- WellView
- SAP
- ComboCurve
- AVEVA PI
- Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and asynchronously with AI research teams.
